ROTHE was one of the first manufacturers in Europe producing deep drawn carrier tapes. The packaging system consists of carrier tape, the matching reels and cover tape.
Carrier tape is the best solution for clean, position-oriented and automated placement and processing. We have already implemented over 10,000 solutions for customers in many different industries.
Our carrier tapes are manufactured in PC, PET, PP, PS and PVC. They are also available in anti-static or conductive versions. The tapes are available in widths of 8 to 200 mm. The thickness depends on the tape design, the cavity and customer-specific requirements.
Our carrier tapes are in conformity with all relevant international standards (e.g. DIN IEC 60286-3, EIA 481-3, JIS C 0806). We can produce tapes that deviate from these standards at the customer's request.
We manufacture reels by injection moulding. They are made of polystyrene in different sizes and designs. By request we can also produce them in anti-static or conductive versions.
The matching cover tapes are available in standard or anti-static versions for cold gluing or hot sealing.
